  A Timeless Artist​

French born in New Caledonia and living in Antibes French Riviera,  Sylvana Aymard brings in all her paintings the exotic light of her birthplace as well as the bright blue of the French Riviera.  
Contemporary painter but as if coming from another planet,  Sylvana Aymard paints with spirituality but also a lot of humor everything that surrounds us: the sun, the sea or the neighbor's playful cat.  

All Sylvana's canvases speak, sing, tell about the real, unreal, imaginary, fantastical, superdimensional world or the normality of the present in the most interesting shapes and colors.  Present in numerous group exhibitions or solo exhibitions, Sylvana Aymard has a deep and unmistakable artistic personality.  
Awarded at many artistic events, French painting always has a story to tell in absolutely surprising shapes and colors.  Nothing is accidental, everything is actually based on its artistic idea, namely: nothing is what it seems to be.  

So Sylvana's paintings invite us to a new artistic journey, new discoveries and into another spiritual cosmos in which we can find ourselves in completely different roles and hitherto unknown to us.

How do you describe your art?

My art is ME : I understand LIFE as a spiritual journey with humor, beauty and courage.

Which is your inspiration?

My inspiration comes from everything is surrounding me, a garden, the sea, the doves, the sand or whatever gives me the feeling of freedom and joy.

When did you discover your artistic path and talent?

Suddenly, one day, I knew that I must paint to express myself in another let's say ,, language". I have discovered the need of painting like a blessing, fulfillment and great joy. In front of my first canvas I was like the first astronaut walking on moon.

 Your favorite color?

All possible colors! All possible forms! All my ideas are circulating on canvas like stories of a magical territory.

What is your main target as an artist?

My main target is to achieve the real freedom. The real beauty. The real and profound happiness. And to offer all these feelings to the art lovers, to the humanity.

 You are very much present at all big artistic events in French Riviera, Monaco or Saint Jean Cap Ferrat. How much important is French Riviera for you as an artist?

I am a French artist born in New Caledonia and living in Antibes. French Riviera is the perfect hub, the pure Paradise for any artist of our planet. Is my motivation, my inspiration, my joy of living and painting.

How do you feel as a woman- artist?

My femininity is reflected totally and profoundly in all my paintings. You can feel how I am just by looking at my canvas.

Is Your family supporting your love for art?

Totally!! They are my fans and the best audience!

 What is your next project?

I have a very large and busy artistic program with many events and exhibitions but the most important projects is a secret in my heart!

 A new Paintings exhibition, artworks?

More than that. A new artwork collection with a magical and unique message of spirituality dedicated to all art lovers, something emblematic for Antibes like a love letter in the most beautiful colours.
