Girbau Boats

 is about to start an

exciting boat show season!

Girbau Boats, an excellence in boat manufacturing, is thrilled to announce its participation at the prestigious Cannes Yachting Festival and Genova Boat Show, both starting in September 2024.

G38, the biggest model of Girbau range, with its impressive features and innovative design, will be showcased at both festivals and available for visits.

The G38 is part of a range going from 27 to 38 feet and is combining state-of-the-art technology with exquisite craftsmanship, offering performance at sea, comfort, and style.

This model, which reaches 12.52 meters in length with a large platform, represents the consolidation and advancement of the Girbau Boats range; a range with a unique and unmistakable style that has managed to integrate traditional style with modernity, functionality and innovation.

Aesthetics and performance are enhanced by the good mix of classic and modern design with aerodynamic shapes. Its streamlined silhouette ensures superior speed and efficiency whereas the elongated dark windows on each side add elegance and visually lengthens the yacht. The Girbau G38 offers different options for deck layout, with two choices for the stern: large curved benches on each side that can be converted into a large table or a sunbathing area.

The bow features a modern design, and the anchor system leaves the bow balcony clear.

The large bow sundeck plays with the heights and the volumes of the interior to extend the mattresses in a unique way, resulting in very spacious and comfortable, accommodating up to four people.

Wide side passages exceed the standard of 20 cm, and the cockpit under the hardtop includes a versatile kitchen area with a sink and a stove.

The helm station features advanced technology with two medium-sized monitors for engine control and navigation, intelligent displays for flaps, 2 x Yanmar engines and a custom Garmin domotics system for programmable alarms and adjustable lighting.

The XL-sized hydraulic platform facilitates access to the water for swimming and simplifies the maneuvering for stowing the auxiliary boat.

The interiors of the G38 are crafted with the finest materials, offering a luxurious and comfortable environment. Customizable options allow Owners to personalize their space to reflect their individual tastes.

Interiors can host four or even six people since the design team has carefully studied the available space, taking advantage of every corner with ingenious design solutions. Among them is it possible to highlight the access stairs that hide drawers and stowage space or the sliding doors of the cabins.

Entering the standard version of the Girbau G38 there is a sofa on the starboard side. In this space, is it possible to choose between a dinette or a convertible sofa bed. On the port side there is a complete high-rise toilet. At the stern, originally, it has been decided to leave the cabin open, although at the Owner's request, it can be closed using a bulkhead. At the bow, the Owner's cabin features a double bed, wardrobes and large stowage drawers. Both the colors, the woods and the upholstery give to the boat the typical Mediterranean style. The model, which will be shown at the September events, offers different deck layout possibilities that allow a high degree of customization, both inside, where two independent cabins have been arranged, and on its deck.

Girbau Boats is committed to sustainability, and the G38 is designed with eco-friendly features that minimize environmental impact without compromising on performance.

The maximum speed of the vessel is 30 knots at 3,800 RPM whereas its cruising speed is 16.7 knots at 3,000 RPM, powered by twin Yanmar 8LV 370 HP (275 kW) engines. The range is approximately 162 nautical miles at top speed and around 208 nautical miles at cruising speed of 16.7 knots.

Girbau Boats was founded in 2008 by Ramon Girbau, a sea and nautical carpentry enthusiast with experience in classic-style boats, and launched its first unit in 2010.

The company mission is to create artisanal pleasure boats with a marked Mediterranean character, standing out, since its inception, for its commitment to designing the ideal boat for every owner.

More than just creating a classically inspired product based on the ancient "Catalan llaüt", the aim of the company was to find a boat style that, integrated with the landscape, offers modern, comfortable features, adapting to customers' needs while fitting into the Mediterranean landscape as much as possible and providing a pleasant and relaxing navigation experience.

Each vessel is crafted with passion and precision, also taking care of aspects that concern a direct and personalized customer interaction, ensuring satisfaction from purchase to after-sales service. Girbau Boats designs and manufactures in-house at their Castelló d’Empúries facility, on the northern Costa Brava, maintaining rigorous quality control throughout the production process, from lamination to upholstery and carpentry. The yard offers Owners different materials options, such as advanced synthetic ones that require less maintenance than natural woods, while preserving the brand's classic style. Committed to continuous innovation, Girbau Boats has an internal engineering and design team dedicated to creating new ideas and solutions. The company is a leading reference in the sale and maintenance of boats in the Balearic Islands, offering a comprehensive range of services to meet all nautical needs.

Girbau boats’ team look forward to welcoming You at Cannes Yachting Festival and Genova Boat Show 2024!
