ROYAL ARTS VISIONS; 15th Artistic Meeting Monaco-Japan 2024

15th Artistic Meeting

Monaco-Japan

2024

Auditorium Rainier III

The 15th artistic meeting between the Principality and the country where the sun is born. An exhibition made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Monegasque National Committee of the International Association of Plastic Arts (A.I.A.P) with the Japanese group Rejinsha, allowing Monegasque artists and Japanese artists to open a plastic dialogue through nearly 200 works.

Committee for Exchange Japanese Culture (CEJC)

The main objective of CEJC activities is to introduce Japanese flower culture, especially in Monaco, and to exchange with people of all cultures. During the 15th “Monaco-Japan Art Festival”, Japanese flower culture will be presented through flower arrangement without using fresh flowers.

In addition, activities such as tea ceremony (Maccha tea tasting) or kimono wearing are organized.

It is thanks to the valuable support of the Directorate of Cultural Affairs and that of the Directorate of Tourism and Conventions of the Principality that the event "Monaco-Japan Artistic Meeting", a true cultural exchange between the Monegasque National Committee of the AIAP- UNESCO and Japan, was able to exist from 2007.

Works by Japanese artists will be exhibited jointly with those of artists from the Monegasque National Committee of the AIAP at UNESCO.

This exhibition took place at the Rainier III Auditorium in Monte Carlo from 1 to 3 November 2024.
