Noha Jbara's artwork is about Renaissance and Revival, Rebirth and Selfconfidence. The Syrian artist, born in the marvelous city of Damascus, once gifted student of the Fine Arts Faculty in her home town, awarded paintress over the years in several countries, participant in so many international exhibitions from London to Kuwait from Iraq to France, Germany, Lebanon, Jordan, Ukraine, the beautiful Noha Jbara born in the land of the great Nizar Qabbani was suddenly lost in a hopeless space, timeless like a ghost born in eternity.
The once happy, joyful paintress creating colorful artworks with love and devotion having a successful career start in the renowned Syrian Opera House, was just a shadow of herself. The war was starting! - terrible time with untold stories of disappointment, illusions and destruction, broken hearts, broken homes, days and nights of terror and death.
But like a rising Phoenix, fantastic, mythical, courageous, brave and innocent, again, Noha Jbara is singing her own song as Conquerer of her destiny and victorious artist writing new pages in her Life Book. Between surrealism and expressionism, the beautiful Syrian lady of arts reopens the window of her soul, heart and mind to let her imagination free ready to fly high and higher beyond the rainbow with the endless hope for peace and freedom.
Noha Jbara's paintings are in fact her own wings leading her to a magical, inspirational, pure future spreading beauty and friendship, tolerance and generosity to all of us.
