MABROUKA CHAIBI

MABROUKA CHAIBI is a Tunisian designer passionate about crafts and sustainable design. Graduating in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in Product Design from the École Supérieure des Arts et Métiers de Mahdia, she quickly broadened her professional horizons by exploring various disciplines related to textiles and crafts.

AL-JAZIA Collection

The "Al-Jazia" light fixture is a creation that combines elegance and nature. Its upper part is finely woven from openwork palm leaves, allowing light to filter through the openings, creating a warm and soft ambiance that diffuses all around. The base, meanwhile, is made of palm wood, adding both robustness and natural beauty to the ensemble. This light fixture, like a metaphor for the palm tree, symbolizes light, generosity, and solidity.

Like Al-Jazia, it embodies grace and wisdom, while paying homage to the majesty of nature and ancestral heritage. "Slingshot" metaphorically refers to a skill passed down from generation to generation, a craft related to the making of slingshots or a form of resistance and defense, symbolizing a kind of devotion and quiet strength. It is a profession which, just like the palm tree, is linked to the culture and history of the tribes.

DORRA KHLASS

Dorra Khlass, an architect and designer who graduated from the National School of Architecture and Urban Planning in Tunis, combines her architectural expertise and passion for design at Sals'al Studio. After teaching in Cameroon, she returned to Tunisia and devoted herself to creating ceramic objects, a material that deeply inspires her.

BLOSSOM Collection

Her lighting and furniture, including the Blossom collection, draw on Mediterranean architectural heritage and Tunisian craftsmanship. Her work explores the balance between simplicity and ornamentation, light and shadow, fullness and emptiness. She draws particular inspiration from the central patio of Tunisian houses, a symbol of contemplation and harmony.

Each piece reveals a meticulous design, integrating floral geometry, arabesques, and architectural symbolism. Ceramic, a noble and ancestral material, is carefully crafted to create objects with pure lines and evocative forms. Whether sculptural lighting fixtures, tables inspired by Islamic motifs, or wall lamps with delicate shadow effects, her creations transcend their function to become true narrative works, straddling tradition and modernity.

The “Dune” collection offers an ambiance blending organic and futuristic design, inspired by the natural heritage of southern Tunisia. Dominated by sculptural furniture with soft shapes reminiscent of the Sahara dunes, it rests on a plush rug of woven raw wool.

The space is enhanced by unique lighting: white ceramic lamps from Sajnane, topped with woven palm leaf hats, and an ethereal chandelier composed of cloud-shaped pendants. This subdued lighting reinforces the poetic and avant-garde atmosphere of the space.

Combining contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship, this collection offers an immersive sensory experience while promoting sustainable and eco-friendly local materials.

RAMLA Collection – The Imprint of Time

Ramla is much more than a simple seat. It is a presence, a perfect balance between solid anchoring and fluidity of movement. Inspired by the bassinet, it deconstructs and reinvents its codes to reveal its true essence. A monolithic, sculptural, and tactile object, where the past merges with the present.

Its seat, hand-woven using the ancestral bassinet technique, pays homage to timeless gestures. Solid and structured, it forms a reassuring base. But its base itself frees itself, unravels, and transforms into a suspended breath. Palms, falling strands that brush the ground, a movement frozen in time. And yet, despite its visual mass, Ramla surprises with its lightness. A lightness that defies appearance, allowing the object to integrate fluidly, without ever imposing.

"Ramla is memory and forgetting. It's structure and chaos. An object that anchors itself and breathes."

One detail changes everything: a lateral handle, where two were expected. A calculated imbalance, an instinctive grip, an invitation to a natural gesture. Touches of color slip discreetly between the natural fibers, as if they had always been part of the object.

Ramla doesn't follow fashion; it's timeless. It simply exists. It blends into its environment without being forgotten. It questions, without imposing. It is a fragment of time, transformed into design. An invitation to experience the essence of material and history.

OLEA AUREA Collection

Olea Aurea is much more than a collection: it's an ode to exceptional craftsmanship, a bridge between past and present, where each drop of water becomes a suspended moment, an invitation to contemplation.Born from the fusion of nature and craftsmanship, the Olea Aurea collection celebrates the elegance of the olive tree, a symbol of eternity and light. Each piece, handcrafted in solid brass, reveals the softness of its organic curves!

The faucet, like a supple branch, rises in fluid arabesques, evoking the movement of the wind through the foliage. It is accompanied by a delicately carved basin, where the water lingers slowly, caressing the precious surface like dew on gold leaf. Its necklace, a subtle echo of this harmony, perfects the balance of the whole, creating a dialogue between strength and finesse.

Maya Luxury is a Tunisian brand renowned for its commitment to high-end art and design. This meticulous work, blending tradition and modernity, reflects her commitment to patience, precision, and creativity.

A graduate of ISBAT with a Master's degree in Design Science and Technology (1996) and holder of a Master's degree in Design Science and Technology from ESSTED (2005), Anissa Bedoui continues to explore new techniques and textures, enriching her artistic and artisanal approach.

MYRIAM, LUNJA & SABRA Collection

The creative approach presented through these collections is part of a dialogue between material and human, between past and present, where each gesture shapes much more than objects: it brings to life a memory, a culture, and a heritage. Pottery and halfa, raw and authentic materials, bear witness to a thousand-year-old history carried by Tunisian craftswomen, guardians of a know-how passed down from generation to generation. In the Gafsa region, the Belkhir pottery perpetuates ancestral techniques where imperfection becomes a signature. It is with this in mind that the "Myriam" mirror was designed, named after the craftswoman who crafted it. This project led her to rethink her techniques and break free from traditional techniques to explore a new approach. Similarly, the "Lunja" floor lamp, a blend of earth and fiber, embodies the encounter between tradition and modernity: a hand-crafted pottery base, rooted in heritage, topped with a woven straw shade providing softness and lightness. Finally, the "Sabra" halfa kilim, woven in Kasserine, reflects the strength and resilience of the craftswomen who bring these plant fibers to life.

HASSENE JELJELI

Architect and lighting designer Hassene Jeljeli draws his inspiration from the balance between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design. Based in Tunis, he strives to give a second life to materials recovered from local marble workers, particularly translucent marble, and to enhance them through meticulous craftsmanship.

CLOUD MARBLE Collection

His new collection, titled Cloud Marble, reflects a quest for harmony between strength and delicacy. Comprised of three lamps of distinct dimensions—a decomposed and geometric sphere—this collection explores modularity and interconnectedness. The hammered metal bases, ingeniously designed to interlock, allow for infinite duplication, adding a sculptural and evolving dimension to the creations.

Each lamp rests on a solid marble base, anchoring the creation in raw stability. The light, diffused through the translucent marble, reveals its natural veins and plays with transparency, creating a soft and warm atmosphere. The metal structures, which surround and support the marble, demonstrate precise craftsmanship and offer a powerful visual contrast with the purity of the mineral material.

With Cloud Marble, Hassene Jeljeli doesn't just design luminous objects: he tells a story, that of a dialogue between light and matter, between the artisan and his material. Each piece is designed to enhance interiors while celebrating the heritage and local resources of the Mediterranean.

MONA ABID

Passionate about design, innovation, and responsible entrepreneurship, Mona Abid has built her career around these values. A graduate of the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts in Sfax, she founded Le Bazar, a brand committed to creating sustainable and local solutions for the promotional products market.

This support also offers her the opportunity to participate in financing programs to support Le Bazar's growth. Through this experience, Mona Abid has enriched her business management skills, expanded her professional network, and strengthened her position in the B2B sector and partnerships with local and international companies.

The CONTEMPORARY HERITAGE collection

Revisits traditional Tunisian furniture by combining ancestral know-how and refined design. Crafted with high-quality, sustainable materials, it combines the robustness of black-stained beech wood with the finesse of natural rush, hand-woven by craftswomen in Gabès.

The Bench embodies the balance between tradition and modernity. Its woven natural rush seat provides a warm and durable texture, making this piece a tribute to Tunisian artisanal heritage. The "Mida" coffee table, inspired by the traditional Tunisian table, combines a beech wood frame with a woven rush top, creating a subtle contrast between modernity and authenticity.

NEJIB BEL HAJ

Nejib Bel Hadj, a certified embroiderer, advanced technician in textile design, and founder of the Tilli Tanit workshop, is the son and grandson of experienced embroiderers from the city of Mahdia. Through the workshop, he teams up with his sister Zahra Bel Hadj and the region's skilled hands to experiment, innovate, and preserve this heritage of knowledge and culture.

PATIO Collection

This series of three embroidered tapestries pays homage to the patio and the nature that surrounds it. Designed as vehicles for personal and collective narratives, they blend different natural fibers, echoing the richness of the elements and textures inherent to this space.

The patio is seen here as a place of life, sharing, and connection: an intimate space where memories, exchanges, the familiar smells of home, sunlight, and an openness to the sky mingle. These everyday elements, rooted in collective memory, come to life through contemporary embroidered compositions.

Oscillating between figuration and abstraction, these tapestries invite free interpretation, where each viewer can project their own vision and feelings. This project thus offers a poetic reinterpretation of the patio, highlighting both its architectural and emotional dimensions through delicate and meticulous textile work.

GHRAM Collection

The Ghram seating series invites a sensory immersion into the ancestral know-how of Kerkennah, a region rich in artisanal heritage that is evident in each piece of furniture. This collection, available in different sizes, offers a variety of stools, poufs, cushions, and armchairs. Each incorporates elements of comfort and beauty that transcend mere furniture. The shapes harmonize, blending subtly within the space, whether as a single seat or a larger ensemble. The contrast between the rigidity of natural materials and the suppleness of hand-woven fabrics invites a tactile and visual experience of rare finesse.

The materials used, such as natural fibers, demonstrate a mastery of weaving passed down from generation to generation. The silk threads that bind the fibers are delicately matched with the embroidery, creating a subtle interplay of textures and colors that elevates this utilitarian object to the status of a work of art. Ghram chairs are not just functional objects; they reflect a culture, a tradition, and a continuous quest for artisanal excellence.

IMEN BOUDEN

Imen Bouden began her art studies at the Fine Art workshop in Tunis before continuing her training at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris and the Saint-Fargeau workshop. Passionate about mosaics, she furthered her studies at the Beaux-Arts romains workshop, in the Tunis craft village. Driven by a desire to revisit this ancient art, she developed an innovative relief mosaic technique, resulting in a collection of original objects and paintings. She has participated in several exhibitions, including "The Olive Tree, King Tree" in 2022 and international biennials, such as the Del Sur Biennial: "People in Resistance in Venezuela in 2020."

In 2020, she co-founded Galerie IN, a virtual platform dedicated to the discovery and acquisition of works of art. A psychologist and coach, she is also behind a personal development concept combining art and coaching, entitled “The Artist, It’s Me”.

NEW CREATIONS Collection

Like tiny pixels or fragments, these relief mosaic paintings capture the beauty of olive branches and intoxicating jasmine sprigs. These paintings are a continuation of the artist's collection of relief mosaic pictorial works, created using an ancient technique inherited from the Romans, enriched with an innovative 3D touch. They are crafted entirely from marble and natural stone. Create a unique composition according to your desires, combining one or more pieces for a personalized result.
