YANN CREPIN

Soloist flautist, medalist of the Rennes Conservatory

pianist and composer.

A brilliant student in Marie Jo Lamotte's transverse flute class, in CHAM musical classes, he rubbed shoulders with Yann Tiersen, Yvan Cassar and Vanessa Wagner. Promised a career as a soloist, Yann won many first places in competitions and perfected his instrument with Ida Ribera, a professor at the Paris Conservatory. She introduced him to the famous concert pianist Jean Pierre Rampal.

Yann Crépin was also noticed by the conductor Jean-François Paillard, with whom he was introduced to the various chamber music ensembles.

​He later taught himself the piano. In July 2016 in Dinard he performed with the Orchestre National Symphonique de Bretagne; invited as a soloist and under the direction of the internationally renowned conductor, Grant Llewellyn.

The album "La Déclaration" Coop Breizh 2016 is noticed by the media and critics, concerts in Paris at the Salle du Zèbre, in Brest at the Vauban. In the fall of 2018 he released a new album of original compositions on the piano: "Mise à nu". Richard Bellia (photographer of music stars) signed the photos of the cover and the album. His music is selected as official music by the company AIR FRANCE and is touring the world!

Yann receives many supports including that of Laurence de La Baume (journalist and writer).

In the summer of 2018 he is invited to play at the Piano Festival of the composer and pianist Marc Vella, an artist crowned with a 1st prize of Rome. Broadcast on the Canadian airwaves.

In March 2020, national release of the film and play "VIVIANE", directed by Mélanie Leray (awarded a Molière in 2019). After the theater, cinema follows the song: in fact the singer Battista Acquaviva, revealed by the show "The Voice" announced in the fall of 2019 her official collaboration with Yann after listening to his compositions on the piano. She invites him to play on stage with her in Bastia and notably performs "Poussière d'étoiles" ...

In November 2021 Yann released a new album "L'EVEIL" which will be broadcast in 240 countries and present on all digital platforms. This album is used in particular in the image for the Buddhist wisdom show on France 2 for the exhibition at La Défense Paris by Matthieu Ricard "Hymn to beauty". That same year, it was the TF1 series HPI which used the title "un battument de coeur" in the image in episode 8 "Kikeriki" of season 3.

 In June 2022 The music of the Fouesnant pianist Yann Crépin continues to travel. On stage After playing at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris in front of the Chinese ambassador in June 2022, his performance was broadcast by many Chinese media, he also performed at the Archipel de Fouesnant (Finistère), on January 28, 2023.

On November 8, 2024, national release of the album of the musical comedy "Une fleur en hiver" produced by Frederic Mazé. Deep Forest, Cécile Corbel, Gilles Servat, the former musicians of Goldman participate in this project. Yann composed on this album 2 titles "Une fleur en hiver" and "Lampedusa" ...
