LE DIAMANT DE CAP FERRAT

18-20 JULY 2025

Her Royal Highness Princess Doaa Bint Mohammed of Saudi Arabia inaugurated the cultural event Le Diamant de Cap Ferrat 2025

Mr. Jean-François Dietriech, Mayor of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Dr. Monica Mergiu, Founder of the intercultural magazine Royal Arts Visions, the Consul General of Tunisia Mr. Lotfi Baalouchi, artist Yusuke Akamatsu, and painter Raouf Meftah, Artistic Director, inaugurated the second edition of Le Diamant de Cap Ferrat from July 18 to 20, 2025, in the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Doaa Bint Mohammed Ezzat of Saudi Arabia, Founder of the educational organization AL MOHRA, dedicated to children's education and health.

Le Diamant de Cap Ferrat is an event organized by Royal Arts Visions, delivering a strong message of intercultural diplomacy. It brings together artists from all backgrounds, entrepreneurs, diplomats, members of royal families, art lovers, collectors, and patrons of the arts from various countries, creating a strong bond of friendship between Europe and the Arab world, and fostering close cooperation between the Middle East, the Gulf countries, and the French Riviera.

The festival took place at the Salon Les Néréides of the Théâtre sur la Mer and celebrated a beautiful cultural encounter between European, Japanese, and Saudi arts and literature. Highlights included the first solo exhibition of Japanese artist Yusuke Akamatsu; poetry by the renowned poet, writer, and journalist Dr. Maysoun Abu Baker from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; the royal art and perfume collection Dorin - Marie Antoinette by Bashar Nasri from the Château de Versailles; immersive hologram artist James McQueen from Paris; a sculpture collection of 800-year-old olive wood by Saad Design from Tunisia; a Miss Beauty pageant followed by a performance of oriental dance directed by Mélissa Ribolini; and a trendy Japanese-inspired fashion collection by designer Chantal Toppan from Cannes.

On July 19, the Grand Arts Ceremony opened with welcome speeches by HRH Princess Doaa Bint Mohammed, H.E. Jean-François Dietriech, Mayor of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, and H.E. Lotfi Baalochi, Consul General of Tunisia for Nice and Monaco. Distinguished guests included endurance champion and entrepreneur Ahmad Abul from Kuwait; H.E. Othman Al-Omeir, Saudi media executive and businessman; H.E. the Consul General of Libya; Mr. Xavier Dalmas, Deputy for Culture of Cap-d'Ail; the Deputy for Culture of the Mayor of La Trinité; art collectors, enthusiasts, and many more.

Dr. Monica Mergiu, founder of the cultural magazine Royal Arts Visions, and Artistic Director Raouf Meftah, organizers of this first intercultural festival linking the Côte d'Azur, the Arab world, and Asia, shared their visions and ideas about the powerful impact and importance of cultural dialogue between countries and artists.

A highlight of this edition was the launch of the poetry collection by acclaimed author Maysoun Abu Baker, with live recitations in Arabic and French of her poems “NADJD” and “PARIS”, symbols of cultural brotherhood.

Evoking elegance, glamour, and French history, the red carpet ceremony also featured the unveiling of the latest collection from the art gallery PARFUMS & PAINTINGS, created by Bashar Nasri and artist Julia.

The solo exhibition “YUSUKE AKAMATSU, THE COSMIC SAMURAI” attracted many visitors and much admiration. Le Diamant de Cap Ferrat 2025 offered the renowned Japanese digital artist a platform to share, through long speeches and media interviews, his futuristic visions, his global journey as a Japanese globetrotter, his relationship with society and the Universe, human values, and his new artistic home in Paris.

Immersive holographic artist James McQueen delivered a splendid light and shadow show, bringing back to life Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, and the Royal Arts Visions logo in a dazzling display of technical and artistic prowess. In a unique and exceptional setting, he also presented an official replica from the Musée Grévin of Michael Jackson’s handprints.

Heritage in the present moment: the spirit of the Côte d'Azur, fashion, glamour, elegance, and brilliance were embodied in the stunning fashion collection by Chantal Toppan in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.

A particularly special moment was the presence and story of Mickael Mamoun, one of the most passionate collectors of works and artifacts by Salvador Dalí.

The glamorous and artistic oriental dance performance by the magnificent Mellissa was met with long applause and admiration for her beauty, talent, and resplendent costume adorned with blue and silver embroidery.

Another standout presence was that of Côte d’Azur star Melyssa Lemoing, a young singer with a stunning voice, performing nostalgic songs by the iconic Edith Piaf.

The fashion show featuring the charming young Miss Beauté des Alpes Maritimes, resplendent in their royal crowns and gowns, was a spectacular and memorable highlight of the evening.

Le Diamant de Cap Ferrat 2025 was a resounding success for all artists, participants, guests, and visitors; the large audience was deeply impressed by these three extraordinary days of art and culture.
