Cantieri di Pisa at the

Cannes Yachting Festival

Polaris 48

The Cannes Yachting Festival will be an opportunity for Cantieri di Pisa to take stock of the progress made by the new owner. After major work to modernise and enlarge the shipyard, some still underway, Enrico Gennasio’s company is in the process of designing a range made up of three lines – Polaris, Saturno and Akhir – as well as working on various projects with the CdP Custom Division, including a recently sold 37.5-metre explorer.

Polaris 48

The Shipyard owned by Enrico Gennasio will be attending the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival, held from September 10 to 15, 2024, with an exclusive stand and a private terrace. Marco Massabò, the company’s CEO, commented: “This boat show is the ideal opportunity to take stock of the first important steps taken by the new owner.

After presenting the Polaris and Saturno lines and completing the sale of CdP Custom Division’s first explorer, we’ll be introducing the iconic new Akhir at Cannes. And we have other major projects in the pipeline, all aligned with the Shipyard’s storied tradition and all driven by the same desire to keep innovating and acting as a benchmark in the industry.

Polaris 48

At the Shipyard’s stand, Cantieri di Pisa will be exhibiting scale models of nine boats: four in the Saturno line, including the 56, three Polaris line models, including the 48, and finally Akhir 44 and the 80 Veloce.

Polaris is the range of steel, aluminium and composite voyagers characterised by their great versatility. The spacious exteriors feature convivial and multifunctional water’s edge terraces, plenty of room for various amenities to explore otherwise inaccessible bays, and storage space for long cruises.

The first model, Polaris 48, has exterior styling by the shipyard’s chief designer Antonio Luxardo, engineering by Optima Design and interior design by Parisotto + Formenton. Polaris 48 will be followed by Polaris 38 and Super Polaris 60.

Saturno 56

The Saturno range features the shipyard’s storied stylistic hallmarks viewed through a contemporary lens to satisfy current market demand. The boats will range in length from the 38 metres of the smallest model to the 90-metre flagship, all sharing black and white lines on the hull sides, generous “ribbon” windows and a traditionally designed stern.

Saturno 56

The range is made up of Saturno 38, Saturno 48, Saturno 56, Super Saturno 64 and Super Saturno 90. The first model to be presented is Saturno 56, with exterior design by Antonio Luxardo and interiors by m2atelier. The renowned Milan-based firm will also bring its innovative design language on board Super Saturno 64 and Super Saturno 90.
