FESTIVAL NUITS CARRÉES announces the first artists of the program

Since its origins in 2007, the Nuits Carrées Festival has established itself as a major musical event on the Côte d'Azur. Its 19th edition promises to be a real backdoor to an extraordinary odyssey combining encounters of enchanted souls and bewitching harmonies ... thus transforming the Esplanade du Pré des Pêcheurs, in Antibes, into a gaming table where the melodies will be the cards, the spectators the players, and the artists the masters of the game. On the program: three captivating nights that will follow the celestial rhythms of a thousand-year-old game, that of the moon and its metamorphoses.
Faithful to its DNA, which aims to be open to all genres and all sounds, the Festival announces 3 of the artists who will perform on June 12, 13 and 14, 2025, and will take the public into their respective universes.

BEN MAZUÉ / THURSDAY JUNE 12
After receiving a Victoire de la Musique, in the musical show, tour or concert category, with his project Paradis in 2022, Ben Mazué announced the release of his next album La Famille for February 28. There are albums that we listen to like we hear from a friend. Ben Mazué's is one of them. Of course, he knows that nothing he tells us will make sense if he doesn't start with the big change that has turned his life upside down. It's over. The news shakes us, takes us by surprise and yet it's Ben's main strength: he always talks to us about himself and it talks to us about us. So we listen to him. He reassures us. Yes, half of his life is disappearing. It's over, but it's going to be okay.

Soolking is one of the biggest French-speaking pop stars in the world. The polyglot intercontinental fusion of styles characterizes his extremely popular music. It is a mix of French road rap, R&B, reggaeton and raï with addictive melodies. A free style embodied by the title "Guerilla", released in 2018 combining many unique and attractive aspects of his work. From that moment on, Soolking continued to release hits that consolidated his place in the French Hip-hop tops. His latest single "Casanova" ft. Gazo, released on July 6, 2023, has accumulated more than 130 million streams worldwide, 120 million views on the clip and was #1 in the French single charts for 7 consecutive weeks.

Theodora, 21, has already accumulated thousands of streams, around forty dates, collaborations with Louis Vuitton and Converse, as well as a nomination at Les Flammes, all in the service of a rich and diverse music. She embodies the new French music scene, the one that has managed to creolize influences from around the world to create a unique identity. A necessary breath of fresh air, which shakes up the codes to shape a distinctive artistic personality, where hip-hop, Afro sounds and electronic music mainly mix. To become the woman she wants to be, Theodora presents her new cabaret with the Bad Boys Lovestory project, stylized BBL, designed to be the blockbuster of Theodora's young career.
About the Nuits Carrées Festival
Created in 2007 by the Label Note association, the Nuits Carrées Festival has become an unmissable event on the Côte d'Azur landscape, based on strong fundamentals that have made it recognized by audiences and professionals.
Located from 2007 to 2019 at the foot of the monumental Fort Carré on the seafront, Les Nuits Carrées has been able to promote an exceptional historic site by offering each year a demanding and quality program mixing headliners and discoveries as well as a pricing policy allowing access to the greatest number. The artistic and cultural identity of Les Nuits Carrées has thus been built by welcoming hundreds of artists and thousands of festival-goers at the opening of the summer season, each year during the last weekend of June.
In 2021, the Antibes event is setting up its headquarters a few steps from its original fort, on the esplanade of Pré des Pêcheurs in the heart of the city, in order to participate in the collective, social and cultural reconstruction effort in a context still marked by the health crisis. This new experience, which is a great success in 2021, as close as possible to the populations and stakeholders of the heart of the city, convinces the Label Note association to keep and install the production of Nuits Carrées on this new exceptional site, at the foot of the ramparts of the city of Antibes. Three evenings of live. A territorial, social, sustainable and eco-responsible event.
In 2025, Nuits Carrées will blow out their 19th candle, on June 12, 13 and 14, around three evenings that will mix universes! Because that is above all Nuits Carrées: an eclecticism embodied and a clever mix between musical worlds. A signature that allows the event to always be as enjoyable as ever, with the aim of providing festival-goers with the best possible experience!
