ROYAL ARTS VISIONS; The timeless art of Lancia Aprea

The timeless art of Lancia Aprea returns to amaze at the next boat shows!

After last year's triumph, Cantieri Aprea, heir of a seafaring art born in Sorrento and handed down from generation to generation, renews its participation in the next boat shows: the Cannes Yachting Festival, scheduled from 10 to 15 September 2024, the Salone Nautico Internazionale di Genova from 19 to 24 September and the Monaco Yacht Show from 25 to 28 September.

Lancia Aprea 52: the modern reinterpretation of the iconic “lancia sorrentina” that was acclaimed by the public last year, will be presented this year in Cannes and Genova in two different versions. Each version will express a unique and distinctive aspect of this famous model, offering an exclusive and fascinating interpretation.

Antonino Aprea, CEO of Cantieri Aprea, states: “We are extremely proud to return to these shows which consolidated our presence in the European market. The Lancia Aprea project expands by embodying our philosophy: combining classic elegance with contemporary innovation and high-level performance. We invite everyone to discover the excellence of our creations, the result of a tradition that renews during time."

Lancia Aprea 52 was born from the centenary experience of the Aprea Shipyards of Sorrento, which made the famous Gozzo Sorrentino a maritime icon. The project is a symbol of the tradition and innovation that have distinguished the Aprea Shipyards since 1890. Each vessel is a work of art, designed to offer a unique sailing experience, combining aesthetic beauty with high performance.

This extraordinary vessel not only stands out for cutting-edge technological solutions and unparalleled seaworthiness, but is also an authentic masterpiece of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

In fact, Cantieri Aprea dedicates meticulous care to the selection of precious materials, choosing luxury fabrics made in Italy and precious woods, handled by those who, for over a century, have refined the art of treating marine wood. Every detail reflects the precision and passion of a centuries-old tradition, which has consecrated Cantieri Aprea as a reference and prestige name in the nautical world.

The project, created with the renowned Victory Design - Total Design Studio, presents sinuous and captivating lines on the exterior, while the bridge guarantees safety and comfort. The interiors, with attention to the smallest details together with the architect Stefano Faggioni, boast precious materials such as oak lambrì and fabrics from Alcantara and Loro Piana Interiors, which give this vessel a timeless elegance.

Brunello Acampora, founder of Victory Design and creative mind behind the Lancia Aprea, says: “With the Lancia Aprea, together with the talented team at Cantieri Aprea, we have embarked on an exciting journey to combine elegance and functionality in a design that not only pays homage to illustrious Sorrento nautical tradition, but touches the hearts of modern shipowners. This project passionately celebrates a century-old history through meticulous attention to detail, creating a truly unique and unforgettable sailing experience. When our heritage merges with the most advanced technologies, something truly magical and unparalleled is born.

Lancia hull of the "Wide" series, is wide and deep V-shaped, guaranteeing maximum seakeeping, stability and reduced consumption. The flare and sweep of the bow sections give the boat a sturdy appeal, making navigation particularly soft and dry. In terms of engines, Lancia Aprea can be equipped with different engine options: in-line diesel, Volvo Penta IPS pods which allow it to travel at around 32 knots of maximum speed, or even with Mercury Verado XS600 outboard engines.

For each type of propulsion, Victory has provided a specific optimization, in search of low consumption.

Cannes Yachting Festival 2024: discover the new “Li Galli” white Lancia Aprea.

Cannes Yachting Festival 2024 will be the stage for the debut of Lancia Aprea in its brand new color "Li Galli" white which takes its name from the tiny islands located south of the Sorrento peninsula. The elegant lines and refined finishes make this vessel an authentic jewel of the sea, the result of a perfect fusion of precious materials, craftsmanship and advanced technology.

The Lancia Aprea 52 presented this year in Cannes features a new color and a new internal layout with three cabins, two bathrooms and a crew cabin. This model will be equipped with two Volvo Penta D8-IPS800 engines that reach a maximum speed of 32 knots at one third of the load.

During the Cannes yachting festival, the scale model of the Lancia Aprea 42 will also be unveiled as a world première: the second example of the range from 32 to 72 feet, in production by 2025. A completely new stand located in Vieux Port n. QSP106, will consolidate the brand's presence at the Show compared to last year, while the Lancia will be at the adjacent QSP003 berth, available for visits by appointment.

Salone Nautico di Genova 2024: Lancia “Blu Vervece” is back but with a new layout!

The Lancia Aprea in the refined "Blu Vervece" color will be exhibited at the Genoa Boat Show. This model, already acclaimed at Cannes last year, will be presented in Genoa with a renewed appearance that further enhances its elegance.

Blu Vervece, chosen by numerous customers for its irresistible charm, represents not only an aesthetic choice but also a declaration of exclusivity.

The new interior layout offers two cabins, two bathrooms and a transformable dinette, optimizing space and improving comfort on board. A practical storage compartment, located under the deck ladder, further expands the storage capacity. The exterior design of the Lancia Aprea enchants with a different roof color and silver hard top, which give it a modern and refined appearance. The fine wood inserts and the renewed cushions add a touch of warm elegance, while the exclusive Loro Piana fabrics envelop every detail with a sophisticated appeal. Each element is carefully chosen to evoke a sense of opulence and comfort, transforming each journey into an experience of pure class and distinction.

Monaco Yacht Show 2024: the strategic partnership with Victory Design continues with a shared stand at the show.

The Lancia Aprea team will also be present during the Monaco Yacht Show from 25 to 28 September at stand QJ17 in partnership with Victory Design. This partnership allows the two nautical excellences to generate a new course, laying solid foundations for a disruptive impetus to tradition, going well beyond the classic shipyard-designer relationship.

With a fame that reached an international level, Cantieri Aprea continues to build boats with the same passion and mastery that have characterized the Sorrento gozzo boats for decades, combining artisan tradition and innovation in design. The use of carefully selected, high quality raw materials contributes to making each vessel an exclusive and prestigious product.

Cantieri Aprea is vibrant and ready to amaze with a series of innovations, in fact, a new outboard model is currently under construction and it is about to redefine performance standards, already showing extraordinary speeds of around 52 knots in the first tests. Tailored with exclusive details for the American market, the model will be shown in première at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The shipyard remains active and dynamic, ready to reveal further details and surprises that promise to fascinate and inspire in the coming months.
