French Riviera , the well known territory of billionaires, artists, superstars, art lovers and Mecena of arts was more brilliant than ever in the evening of July 29 in the magical location SALON LES NEREIDES, SAINT JEAN CAP FERRAT where more than 100 Arts connoisseurs were united to celebrate the birth of the first european magazine dedicated exclusively to Arab Women of Art and Culture.
Founded by myself (Dr. Monica Mergiu, physician dedicated totally to the humanism and literature , award winning author, lyricist, member of the German Union of Writers) the Royal Arts Visions magazine grows with the support of the artist Raouf Meftah, French - Tunisian Maestro of Arabic calligraphy, as a leading magazine of great cultural and artistic encounters. Painters, musicians, heritage and fashion designers, Arab women with strong voice in Art are described in large interviews, reportages and images speaking about their nation's treasure of the past and present.
The most important moment for all international artists and guests , was the arrival of the high rank, prestigious personality, HER ROYAL HIGHNESS PRINCESS DOAA BINT MOHAMMED EZZAT of Saudi Arabian Kingdom. Welcomed by His Excellency the Mayor Mr. Jean Francois Dieterich with a large speech, surrounded by diplomats and officials like HE Consul of Tunisia, HE Consul of Serbia, The Cultural Mayor of Cap D'Ail Mr. Xavier Dalmas officials of AIAP. UNESCO MONACO Mr. Christian Giordan , the Founder of Royal Monaco magazine Luigi Mattera, the Founder of Royal Arts Visions magazine ( Dr. Monica Mergiu) the Editor in Chief of Al Sharkiah magazine Mrs. Jumana Yassin, Art Director Raouf Meftah , and numerous other academics , media and tv officials.
Well known humanitarian, Chairman of Al Mohra Company, driving force of women empowerment, very active in the educational field and children support, Her Royal Highness Princess Doaa Bint Mohammed is recognized as art lover and cross cultural motivator , very much interested in the development of the Saudi artistic society. Inspired by the wise and great visionary support of His Majesty King Salman Bin Abdulaziz AL Saud and the enthusiasm of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, Her Royal Highness Princess Doaa Bint Mohammed is today not only one of the most helpful female personalities but for sure one of the most influential and inspirational Saudi Women of the new generation.
The official launch of Royal Arts Visions publication crowns the celebration of my own 25 years of literary journey trough the Arab culture . As a German with strong Greek - Old Vlachos roots, i feel in the same time a strong attachment for the Arab culture especially for the Saudi heritage leading me to write numerous articles and books with Arabic subject.
The beautiful artistic atmosphere in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat was entertained by the valuable paintings and sculptors exhibition, my Arab Books Gallery , Arabic calligraphy Paintings Gallery of Raouf Meftah , Lybian painter Mariam Assed, French gallerist Anne Clace Gallery , the Japanese painter Yusuke Akamatsu, beauty artist of Morroco Bahija Belahmira, French painter Sylvana Aymard from Antibes, Serbian Sculptor of magical tables Nenad Petrovic, classical oud musician, Egyptian Professor of Conservatoire of Cannes Ihab Ezzeldin, French designer defile' by Chantal Toppan, Tunisian designer defile' by Jamila Glamour, French beauty artist Cecile, young voice of Cote d'Azur artist Melyssa L. and Italian poetess Maria Salamone and production Director Franck Dormbrowski and his team, photographer Raoul Rand and video producer Ryan Arbilo.
A marvelous presentation came from Germany : the magnificent jewelry collection with precious gems, a fairy tale created by a talented hand with a heart full of LOVE - German artist JUTTA FRANZISKA TRENKER with her glamorous creations presented with exotic elegance by the official delegation ANGEL BEAUTE ' - resplendent defile' ' with the most charming Beauty Queens of Cote d'Azur wearing their Crown.
The guests were honored to lead a large cross cultural dialog celebrating ART ON THE RED CARPET.
The special speech of HE. the Mayor of Saint Jean Cap Ferrat Jean Francois Dieterich was dedicated to the cultural bridge between people trough art.
The marvelous presence of the glamorous Princess Doaa Bint Mohammed speaking about humanity and creativity was a real inspiration to all european guests to know and learn more about the beauty of Saudi Arabian heritage, landscape, history and the huge treasure of the modern society based on the valuable old traditional heritage.
LE DIAMANT DE CAP FERRAT has started as a small event for intellectual elite but is spreading already a large echo in the art world sparkling brilliantly in the name of cultural friendship. The real success is based on communication and we are loyal to our statement : CULTURE UNITES THE PEOPLE.
