Full of contrasts and vibrant with light, Luce di Rosa is the latest creation by Acqua di Parma to join the Signatures of the Sun universe, a collection in which the Maison captures and reflects the complexity of precious ingredients with the unexpected richness of vibrant sophistication. A unisex fragrance, in which the sublimation of the contemporary and dynamic rose counterbalances the mineral sharpness with a chiaroscuro effect, to give birth to a multifaceted fragrance whose notes evoke a vibrant symphony that alternates between piano and forte, adagio and vivace.
Sculpted by light, the fragrance opens with notes of bergamot and mandarin, for an invigorating citrus blend. This luminous opening is enhanced by the spicy nuances of fresh black pepper and pink pepper CO2 extract, to which are added subtle hints of cardamom, paving the way for a sensory olfactory journey. Luce di Rosa blossoms through heart notes with Bulgarian Noble Rose, the centerpiece of this olfactory masterpiece. Renowned for its intense freshness, this rose is complemented by verdant geranium, giving rise to a character that is both floral and deeply rich. This heart crystallizes the tension and freshness where the art of perfumery and the raw, organic beauty of nature meet through vibrant, refined and luminous notes. On the base, Luce di Rosa unfolds around a deep essence of vetiver, guaiac wood and cedar, all wrapped in the soft and sensual embrace of musk nuances, offering a finish that reveals and reflects sensations that continue to evolve over time.
The star of the fragrance, Bulgarian Rose is distilled from flowers harvested in the Kazanlak region of Bulgaria using a steam-water process, which captures the most vibrant degree of the rose’s essence. This vitality is manifested in the essence’s floral, spicy and honeyed notes, making it a coveted ingredient in perfumery.
The multi-sensory world of Luce di Rosa is adorned with two precious objects, the Luce di Rosa Masterpiece Edition jewel and tray, created by French jewelry designer Annelise Michelson. Crafted in gold-plated brass and featuring a sculptural bottle stopper, these objects draw their inspiration from the imagery of fabric in motion, a tribute to the fluid grace of the celebrated Drapé collection. The object reproduces the folds of drapery moved by a perpetual breeze enveloping the perfume bottle, solid in its craftsmanship yet ethereal in its appearance - a juxtaposition that reveals an evanescent and captivating effect, every bit as vibrant and full of contrasts as the fragrance.
Undulating with the contours of a golden fabric captured in motion, the gold-plated brass tray unites art and practicality, creating a tableau that elevates the ritual of perfume.
